Meet Mrs. Motz
Thanks for stopping by. Just a little bit of information about myself: I have been teaching in South Gibson School Corporationfor over 24 years. I taught English/Language Arts in the middle school for nearly 20 years and 5th grade. This will be my sixth year teaching 4th grade, and I am very excited. I love teaching elementary grades. I graduated from USI with an elementary education degree, reading minor, and a Master's degree in elementary education. I also have certifications in middle school, social studies, language arts, high ability, and FACS.
My husband, John, and I live in the country on my home place in Posey County. John is a minister at Faith United Methodist Church and at Mt. Vernon Community Church. We have a daughter, Natalie, and she is married to Kevin. Natalie works a Deaconess Hospital as a surgery technologist, and Kevin works for Med Johnson in Evansville, IN, as one of their heating and air guys. We also have a son, Johnathan, who graduated from Morehead State University with a music performance degree. We have a new puppy that we recently adopted for Evansville Animal Control, and a very small flock of chickens.
I have a few hobbies: reading, sewing, baking, flower gardening, and spending time with family and friends.
